Can you guys please kick Valve in the butt?

Hi Overhaul Gs,

I beg you, please punch them in the faces as the steam game client is still in the oldest 1.0 version, while you guys have already released 1.0.2014.

I bought the original BG back in the day and could play it without ANY issues even on Win7 years after but, unfortunately, this v 1.0 steam client is pretty much unplayable for me, due to sound stuttering.

I believe Valve updating the game's client to the newest version could help with that.

Please don't tell me to contact them, as their customer support won't tell me anything I need to know in regards to WHEN will they actually update the client.

In short: could you guys put some pressure on Valve to update the game on steam :( ?

P.S. Bump this if you may: http://steamcommunity.com/app/228280/discussions/0/828937979061491430/, thanks.

P.S. 2 - Or perhaps you guys could release manual patches for those who didn't buy a game box from a retailer but have the Steam version, per chance?

Anything, please...

Unfortunately it's atari who have control of the steam version.
I'm pretty sure overhaul gives them the latest patches at the same time as everything else, but they don't seem to be sending it to steam at the moment (perhap due to other pressing issues, such as bankruptcy)

I also have the Steam version with 2014. You might want to check whether "Automatic updates" is activated. Or maybe you just need to reinstall.

Yeah, it isn't valves fault. Atari is the one who releases the steam updates, and people here are saying they have 2014 so things seem fine. Check everything before blaming them.
