How to access Tales of the Sword Coast (TotSC)?

I just finished the main storyline, and would like to start in on Tales of the Sword Coast (TotSC). I can't figure out how it's done. Loading the final save that was automatically created by the game puts me back in for just a moment, before it throws me back to the main BG screen. No other menus on the title screen will take me to the TotSC expansion. Did this feature somehow not actually get implemented, despite all documentation and advertising stating that it's included? Is there a separate client for the expansion that I don't know about?

I have BG:EE as a stand-alone game, it is not associated with my Steam account, if it matters.

I've played BG through many times, but was never able to get TotSC to work properly, so this is completely new content for me that I'd love to dive into. Googling has produced no answers, so I'm hoping someone here will know. Thanks!

    ToTSC areas are allready in the game. Durlag's tower, and Ulgoth's beard are ToTSC areas. You can go to a few over the sea areas from Ulgoth's beard too.

    Sadly, if you kill Sarevok, game ends so you need to do the ToTSC areas before entering Bhaal temple in Undercity.

    You can return to an older save, or when you load your final save, immediately pause the game, use the cheat console to move into another area. CLUAConsole:MoveToArea('ARxxxx') this may stop the game ending, but haven't tried myself.

    ...Oh. It hadn't occurred to me that I should just do it out of order. I noticed those things on the map earlier, and I guess I just never put it together. Now I feel silly.
