Question about the main character in multiplayer session

I have never tried to multiplay this game before and soon I'm going to start it with a friend. My question is about the main characters death. Does the game end when he dies like in singleplayer mode? We are going to play it through as a 2 man party.

It is important to know this because either of us is going to choose cleric as a class. So it would be more beneficial if the main character is cleric so he could resurrect the other if he dies.

    Yes, the game ends when char 1 dies in multiplayer.

    you can use rode of ressurection that helps
