I have been out of forum for a while, still I don't see that issue clearly adressed.

    Sadly, no. Synchronization of games with Steam requires an activation key, and because Atari manages the Steam version of the game we don't have access to those. You can try contacting Atari's support line, but as you may have heard they're going through some interesting times.
