I was just thinking of a couple of Spell and Item effects that might be useful and, to my knowledge, aren't already in the game.
Effect: Evasion
Would force each of an Attacker's attacks to be a Critical Miss (never strike),
or
Would increase Critical Misses to target by a value (i.e. Value is 3 in effect, Critical Misses are rolls of 1 to 4).
Effect: Reduce Damage to Zero
Would be beneficial to certain targets who shouldn't yet be kill-able,
or
Effect: Keep Up Health
Based upon effect value, wouldn't allow a target's health to be reduced below the set integer.
(is this what "Minimum Health" is supposed to do?).
And is there an effect that increases the Critical Hit Range in the same way certain weapon proficiencies do?

I just know its a condition that doesn't let your HP drop below 1.
I have no idea. Hell, I only remembered her belt because you mentioned it, lol.
