How do I trigger Aerie/Haer D'Alis romance ?

Hey there
I'm romancing another npc, do I have to be in a romance with aerie for it to start? I've tried the ctrl+I code and it isn't working .

    I think you can not be in a romance with Aerie.

    And obviously have them in the same party. I suppose it's possible that you have to actively shut down the Aerie romance?

    As for your specific question I don’t know what happens if you don’t romance Aerie. But if you are romancing Aerie and admit Haer’Dalis into the party their romance will eventually start. Haer’Dalis will ask you to step back and will eventually challenge you to a dual. Don’t accept this if you want to keep them both in the party.

    I don’t know the details of this, though, as I never let it happen. I usually romance Aerie when I play male and I don’t like Haer’Dalis anyway so I seldom keep him in the party for long.

    What a shame, I dumped Aerie to stay with Viconia before having Haer D'Alis in the party, I suppose they'll have to be friends, then ...

    Before the duel happens, Aerie might ask if you feel anything toward her. You just have to not have advanced through the ladies romances to the point where you have to choose one of them. But don't worry about them not together:

    She'll end up dumping him anyway, either in Spellhold or Saradush, because she feels he's just using her to prove some flaccid point.

    Well, I might be roleplaying too much, but I thought of having Haer in the party because Aerie was quite disapointed at me 'cause I chose Viconia over her... I'll probably stick with him till the end of SoA.

    Only time I romanced Aerie, well you know we did stuff, then she got all emo and in the end completely freaked out when I made a slip with some drow lady in the Underdark.

    This character actually had an interesting roleplay where he went from neutral and balanced towards more and more evil and chaotic due to the circumstances, his Bhaal essence and stuff..

    To answer your question: he never knew what hit him ;-)

    Only if they have WIS of 6 or less.
