Can't get onto Multiplayer

Hi guys,

Just wondering how to play multiplayer on Mac. I have had a look around and opened all the ports etc, I have entered the correct IP address but I am still unable to go online with my mates. Is anyone able to give me a step by step on how to do it. Tried downloading Tunngle but not sure if it is mac compatible.
