Jester love!

I don't know how much on this topic, but I starte playing again after three months to try a jester. I love how the song was improved but since bards end up being mostly gimped, when this guy gets to epic level, does he keep the offensive aspect of his song with the improved part for later in bg2? I feel like this would balance this kit more later.

a. Good
b. Usable only by jesters
c. Give unique jestering abilities.
The Melodic chain+3 on the other hand, is bard-only elven chainmail.
I wish they'd nerf the hell out of them and make them like the PnP version.
Dagger, quarterstaff, club, sling, darts only.
Armor no higher then leather.
Rework their song to act as a taunt that forces enemies to attack the jester if they fail a save vs spells (doesn't work on creatures with less then 6 or higher then 16 int), requires that the enemy see and hear the jester.
+5 PP, +1 constant luck bonus (self only), +1 AC
Immunity to confusion, feeblemind, and insanity.
Any enemy that attempts to mentally dominate the jester must save at -4 or be confused for 5 rounds, regardless of whether the spell succeeds or not.
Only gains 3 lore per level, and can't use wands or cast spells directly from scrolls (but can still learn spell from them).
