Branwen weapon?

I am running a Ranger/Cleric protagonist with Branwen as healer. She has reached level 4 and I need to spend a weapon pip. Since my R/C has Mace/Warhammer/Flail what should I give her? Maybe staff for the Staff mace but isn't that acquired late in the game?

Party is:
R/C
Minsc
Branwen
Ajantis (to be replaced by Coran when I dual Imoen)
Imoen (going to dual to mage)
Dynaheir

P.S.- I have no one to use staves unless maybe Coran likes them…I don't know.

    The Stupifier is a useful tool; so is Ashideena. Give one to your PC and one to Branwen...

    I think she should go mace/shield style, as she will be the only npc in your party that can employ shields. (Your r/c dualwields, right?) She already has hammer proficiency, you can go for mace. Your pc can dual wild stupifier+Basilus's hammer+2 so there are still plenty of good hammer/maces left. Mace+2 from Durlag's or Warhammer+1 +4 vs giants from Aec quest.

    Thanks I'll go mace with her.

    Yes my 3R/1C dual wields. Has ***in dual weapons, **in maces, **in hammers, *in Slings and *in Flails. Will eventually get ** in flails and **in slings later on. Will wield a Flail/Morningstar until he gets his Ranger pips back.
    Until my R/C gets his Ranger abilities back he won't be using a mace anyway and The Spupifier is just sitting there. Looks like no one gets to use the pretty quarterstaves :P

    EDIT- So now I have 3 party members with Mace profs. I think I'll have Minsc dual wield the two magical maces I have until he gets a good two hander. Branwen can cast/sling and off-tank if needed. If it all comes together Minsc will get a two hander, R/C will get The Spupifier plus whatever, and Branwen can get the leftover mace.

    Imoen can wield the magical quarterstaves. She can bacsktab with them too!
