    Hey guys do You even have a chance to work this through or these douches from WotC and Atari or whatever company has the rights do BG mark are willing to block BGEE and BG2EE because of their pride and greed?

    I'm not sad right now I'm freaking angry....now I know why You were so hesitant to disclose anything at all. Because of their monumental egos....

    Now I'm starting to wonder what the hell am I doing on this forum for last couple of months, waiting for scraps of news.....and for what?

    I really hope You can do something about it I really do.

    I saw the message on the site, and my heart sank a little. I definitely wasn't expecting -that-. However, I hope all these issues are solved soon.

    Sorry for double post, but I want You to know Beamdog/Overhaul team that I'm not mad at You. I realize how tough must be to deal with big companies which have only money before their eyes. What's sad is that they didn't even put a hand on creating this awesome game, just gave their worshiped money.

    I am quite certain that all those guys and gals that were working on original games are happy that this baby of theirs still breaths and is expanding by another dedicated team of programmers. And surely they don't mind expanding the quests/adding new dialog lines/putting UB content into game etc. After all their work is not altered but ENHANCED.

    God I'm so upset...

    I really appreciate you saying that and I doubt I'm alone in the sentiment (though for the record the opinions expressed in this and anything else I post are solely my own and should not be construed as representing Beamdog/Overhaul.)

    Ok here is a daring announcement of mine - if they block further develompent of BGEE and BG2EE I will never touch any of WoTC product again nor do I play D&D again....and they can put D&D Next deep down where sun can't reach....and I will hunt down the guy to whom I've sold my old ATARI 65XE roughly 17 years ago and if it's still operational I will smash it with my bear hands with menacing smile on my face.

    So say we all....

    A few minutes ago I was excited about the new patch and now I don't know if it or maybe even the whole next game will ever come out since it will may get stuck in some damn legal sh*t.

    Who are involved in this(not going to threaten any one, I just want to know where to send my box with angry monkeys)? I am putting a guess on wizards of the coast?

    Also now that I remembered it I sent this game to my father through steam as a present, will he be able to redeem it?
    I have already played for it so it should not be a problem right?

    Now, let's not do anything hasty with our vintage trading cards...

    We're working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Just try to be patient (and put down the pitchforks) for a bit...

    Also, if you already purchased the game through Beamdog or the Apple AppStore, you can still download and play it. We don't know what Atari is doing with the Steam version, since that's their deal, but our guess is that existing purchases won't be affected.

    Our issue is not related in any way with the Wizards fellows. We went down to visit them a few short weeks ago and we all get along smashingly well.
    I'm not giving up on this, we're trying on a daily basis to resolve the situation and we will continue to work towards a resolution until it is solved.

    Looks like you should be able to redeem it anywhere, including on Beamdog or wherever. Heck even steam is still selling it at this point.

    I am not working for any side here so I may not now anything even close to the full story but I can't see what anyone would stand to gain by (temporarily) shutting you down or even loosing by letting you go about your business and finish this masterpiece...
