Rogue Legacy
Rogue legacy is tons of fun! An RPG with SNES-like graphics, but it makes up for it, more than enough.
You have a starting hero, build your castle, make you armors, weapons, etc, and when he dies, you control his/her child who continues the journey.
And this child has traits, that could be beneficial, or flaws, like colorblind. Basically, a random hero out of 3 that you can choose for each generation. So you build up your char through generations and use your equipment, spells, special attacks etc.
