Unsubscribe Countries/ Dismiss Threads

By no offence, but couldnt it be a possibillity to "Unsubscribe"the different countries in here. So the thing i see under discussion, is the English and /or the country i live in. ?

    Did this ever get implimented? I can't see a way of dimissing a thread apart from the official ones...

    I don't mind their appearance; why I don't like them, however, is that I have an older browser (cannot upgrade @ work) and they make a jumbled mess at the bottom of the page!
