Can we import the final save into BG2

Since BG2EE may very well not be created, is it possible to import the final save into normal BG2?

    Yes, so long as you haven't chosen one of the new prestige classes.

    Would imagine so for BG2:EE but you might get problems I imagine with normal BG2 or gold. I would imagine so at least with some the career classes, not sure about the actual programming part. But I cannot say this being the case for use, I guess only a developer or someone with developing insight might, but I believe it might be plausible that you might run into trouble.

    Alternative if you have the money you could purchase the GoG.com version(but then you will of cause not have the new added kits) or wait for the legal issues to be resolved(that's if they do get resolved).

    EDIT: Waiting even if legal disputes don't get resolved there might still be a chance some mod creators find a way to work around, making it possible to import them, should the unthinkable of cause happen.
