744/766 location help.

Hi I'm new to the forums, I've played through the original BG back in the day so I was thrilled to get BG EE. Well I stumbled onto the modding community and have been reading up on it and would like to add some mods to my gaming experience. I realize that with BG EE you can just use the simple installer and that you have to place a lot of files into the "744/766" folder. I have searched everywhere and I can not find it. I'm not sure how this happened. Can I just create it like I would an over ride folder? Anyway all help is appreciated.
