Place to go for Baldur's Gate II mod questions?

Hello, I'm new here (obviously) because I've been thinking about buying up BGII and expansion on gog and playing through once again. I had some questions about modding with the new edition, and stumbled across here. However, I get the feeling this might be just for the enhanced edition, and I'd be asking all the wrong sorts of questions? Are my questions okay to ask here? If not, does anyone know where else I could go to ask them?
