Reload game on new computer

Hi, I wanted to re-download the game on a new computer, where do I go to do this, and what file from the old computer do I need to copy onto the new computer to get my current game??

    Well to get the game itself on your new computer just do whatever you did to get it on your current computer. As far as copying your current save, it should be located in C:\Users\[You]\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\save. Just copy the folder that corresponds to the game you want to transfer. This is how it is with the Beamdog version for Windows at least. I think it should the same for Steam, but if you're a Mac user I don't know where the saved games would be.

    On a Mac the saved games would be located at

    /Users/[your username]/Documents/Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition/save

    or

    /Users/[your username]/Documents/Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition/mpsave (if it is a multiplayer save).


    Similarly any characters you made would be at

    /Users/[your username]/Documents/Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition/characters
