Baldur's Gate 2 hardware mouse cursor (mod)?

So as the title says, is there a mod or fix that makes BG2's mouse smoother like in the EE?
I've always found it kinda sloppy but not that it's unplayable, it's still my favourite game ever. Just wondering...

    Hi @Fornost, unfortunately nothing to my knowledge. The hardware mouse cursor is a function of the re-written engine for BG:EE, and not something that's a part of the vanilla code base. IIRC, the software-rendered mouse cursor updates every frame, so, conceivably it'll look faster if you play at a higher-than-default framerate, but that's not necessarily what you're looking for...

    I agree there's a huge difference going from BGEE to BG2. Still get lots of clicks wrong in BG2...

    I'm currently playing BG2 with 40-45fps and the mouse *feels* smoother though I'd love to play with the original 30fps...Waiting for BG2:EE c:
