Baldurs Gate is hands down the best RPG of all time. Nothing comes close IMO not even fallout or final fantasy 7.
When I found out that BG was being enhanced and modded it took me back to that first day when I was 13 and I spent 10 hours building a character. How I was absolutely mesmerized by the beauty of the infinity engine. The sounds, the colors, the voice overs, you were taken to the world of dungeons and dragons like my young imagination had never conceived the paper and pen game.
I started playing BG for the first time in 6 years, I am so happy with the finished product of the EE edition. I want to support the game and the people that made this happen. What a great thing to offer fans of the game. I highly doubt they all did it for the money. They loved this game and if they want to invest in it's legacy they should be allowed to. It brings baldurs gate into the conversation for a new RPG game on modern systems that has the heart and soul that made BG such a great game but with the incredible advances in graphics and programming.
This EE will make everyone remember why this game was such a gem. Stopping it's release is a horrible thing to do. I'll pay double or even triple what they asked just to support the game being brought to a new audience
