Red Coloured Stats

Does anyone have any suggestions? My BG II bard's Constitution stat has been showing red and appears to have lost a point and I don't know how, where or how to resolve it. I don't recall it happening in a battle and I've tried taking off all the items I'm using one by one to see if they have any negative effects I hadn't noticed but nothing. Am I going to have to resort to Shadow Keeper to sort it or am I missing something really obvious?
EDIT: Ah, just answered my own question, my psuedo-dragon copped it somewhere along the lines (see, told you I was bad at this, I've noooo idea when it happened).
