You all heared of hemachi? Right?
Well, you might not know all the 'benefits' and 'risks' of using it.
One of the main benefits is that it enables a computer to send and receive data across shared or public networks (Player's Computers) as if it were directly connected to the private network (Actual Host).
Hemachi opens ALL the ports, something like gateways to incoming/outgoing traffic which is beneficial in someways.
Imagine a bulletproof vest, hemachi opens ports (makes holes in the vest).
The bulletproof vest is very safe at this moment, no vulnerable spots or anything.
However, when you create holes in it, it becomes unsafe as bullets can penetrate it more easily.
This is the same for a computer, if ports are opened, viruses, malwares and hackers could easily get into one of them.
To sum up, the more ports you open, the more vulnerable your computer is if a person with a virus connects to you.
I would suggest that you don't use hemachi, as your computer could easily be hacked.
It's better to just port-forward.

However, unless you install a software firewall, everything running on your machine that opens ports is reachable through the Hamachi group.
Security wise, perfectly forwarded ports are safer than a VPN.
Besides that, Hamachi is ugly slow, throttling communication between Hamachi users to 64 kbit/s (equivalent to ISDN single channel).
