AI scripts

I am not that great a fan of micromanagement, and so like to have a script I can generally rely on to not be suicidal. I am currently using uScript, which seems to be one script for all characters and classes.

I would like one that doesn't try to drink potions when they're in your bag of holding, so your character stands there trying to swig potions of strength, speed and invisibility that it can't get at, rather than, say, hitting the baddie with his sword or spells.

Do people have suggestions for other scripts to try?

The SCS mod (http://www.gibberlings3.net/scs/) contains an ease-of-use party AI component that has several settings for what kind of healing items party members will use in and out of combat, and what kind of buffs to use.

Geez, you youngsters! Back in my day, we did it all manually! I remember, back in the winter of '00, I used to click every party member manually! Uphill, and in the snow! No fancy-shmancy scripts and nothing!

Haha. The only script I personally find it annoying to play without is one that makes thieves activate trap detection as soon as they don't have anything else to do.

i liked wizard disabler. it was a good balance between personal buffs and debilitating offense. it helped me learn what counter spells to use against spell defenses.

cleric defense is nice to keep your team strong and healthy (but he seems to go through his spells pretty quick -.-).

fighter defense keeps your warrior from running off to his doom (unless he has cursed berzerking sword O.o)

i like how thieves will auto search for traps now. i don't ever remember seeing that one in the vanilla bgs

i don't really use scripts any more. they're great for learning how to (or not to) prepare for fights and stay alive.

Cool... I was not the only one who wrote a script! (Well, actually, I didn't write mine... Writing it would be a little too much time consuming, in my eyes... I tweaked Uscript (with big thanks to who wrote it initially, mind you) to do what I wanted it to do... Guess this doesn't count as writing it... Oh well... Less typing, more bashing!)

Whats the best auto-buff script to use for wizards? I used to use the Solaufein mod auto-buff script which was quite simple but excellent. This didn't work for me on BG:EE :(
