multiplayer final save & new item console code

thanks in advance if anyone can help with two quick questions.

I've searched but didn't find the answers anywhere.

1- I am in bg city with a multiplayer party i created to try out the different characters i was interested in carrying over to bg2EE. When i get the final save, will i be able to export all characters to bg2 with their end game stats and play any of them as charname in bg2, or only the one i designated charname?

2- does anyone know the console item code for the glimmering bands? I am experiencing the rassad dialogue bug and can't seem to get him to join the party and would like to try the band for my monk. bracers (i think it is a bracer) seem to go from BRAC01 to BRAC11, i tried 12 and 13 to no avail, so i assume it is not listed as BRAC in the code.

    1 - You'll need to start a new multiplayer game for BG2 and import each of the characters, much like you did for BG1.

    2 - RSBRAC is the item code you're looking for.

    Just a side note, if you want to make custom parties just to try out different class combinations, you can make a single player game and use Shadowkeeper or EEKeeper to edit the NPCs to whatever custom setup you want to use. That way, you don't have to deal with some of the multiplayer hassles, and also don't lose out on banter/romance.

    @Qbert

    You should be able to export/import all of them separately and use any of them as CHARNAME in BG2. The only difference between them would be the CHARNAME you are using from BG:EE is the only one who will have a proper biography. (Note: I could be wrong about this last part)

    Also, if you didn't know, you can create a Multiplayer game with your custom characters and then move (or copy/paste) that savegame from the MP folder to the SP folder to avoid more multiplayer hassles.

    Thanks for all the help everyone.

    @Dee oh RSBRAC! makes sense but wouldn't have thought of that if you gave me a hundred guesses.

    @Lord_Tansheron i looked into EEKeeper but am on a mac. i think there is a working wineskin version but it seems a bit complicated to get going. it'll be a project for another day b/c that def. sounds more fun. does that allow method also allow you to export to BGEE2?

    "Also, if you didn't know, you can create a Multiplayer game with your custom characters and then move (or copy/paste) that savegame from the MP folder to the SP folder to avoid more multiplayer hassles."

    thanks @Ironhalo i didn't realize I could do that.

    There should be no problem exporting an edited character to BG2:EE. Mac certainly is a hindrance, though, and I can't help with that either :/ Bummer.

    I've run into an annoyance - your characters don't seem to keep their HP rolls on export. Not a problem if you're importing into a normal difficulty game as they're auto-maxed, but importing into core rules means the game randomly determines your HP again, voiding any good rolls you've made in the past.

    That's an unfortunate side-effect of the way importing works. If you want to preserve your life total as-is, either momentarily reduce the difficulty, or copy the number via the editor (once again a potential problem for Mac...).
