PfM scrolls and potions

In original BG, using a Protection from Magic scroll would remove all spell and potion effects, and drinking potions while in PfM globe will have no effect.

In BG:EE, using PfM scroll will remove spell and potion effects, but drinking new potions in PfM globe would apply their effects. Is this a bug?

    In this case should be fixed, because a combo of PfM scroll and potions is game breaking, making a single fighter handle on his own every boss fight in the game. The potion effects can be dispelled with a dispel magic spell (but not the globe of protection), but it only takes drinking them again.
