Pre-ordered BG2:EE for the wrong operating system - what to do?

Hello, I now feel like an idiot, and I'm a very worried idiot.

I have no idea which forum I should be posting about this in, but "Support" seems like the right place.

I just preordered BG2:EE from Beamdog, and I didn't notice the little flag at the bottom of the icon I clicked that said "Mac/OX". I need the Windows version of the game, not the Mac version.

I've tried sending an email to "support@Beamdog.com". Should that be enough to hopefully get my issue resolved? I'm really hoping Beamdog can exchange my botched pre-order for the correct operating system version!

Thanks.

    I don't think Beamdog will be able to help you... You'll need to buy a Mac now.

    @Awong124, very funny. ;)

    The worst that can happen is that I'll have to spend a second 25 bucks for the right version, and trying to download two versions into my Beamdog client will make it self-destruct in five seconds, so I'll have to run uninstall on the Beamdog client, and then reinstall it, and my Windows registry will try to restore hidden save files and settings, and I'll have a nice little hair-pulling tech nightmare to get through, and then...

    Well, that's actually pretty bad, and I'm still hoping to avoid that scenario, but it's not "buy another computer" bad.

    Yay! Beamdog just loaded the correct Windows version of the BG2:EE placeholder into my Beamdog client, only one hour after I reported my mistake. Now is that great customer service, or what? Thank you, Beamdog. :)

    I didn't even see this thread, or I might have gotten to it sooner. :)

    Great customer service as always @Dee!

    (I might be verging on paranoia, but... I immediately went on beamdog.com to check which version I bought :D)
