Fallback option: Old graphics engine

Could it be possible to integrate the Pre-EE graphics engine as a fallback option if the OpenGL engine cannot be used reliably (i.e. under Intel IGPs)?

This would not be the ideal solution, but a feasible workaround to get around GPUs not supporting OpenGL flawlessly.

    The next patch will include a new renderer that should fix these issues.

    Also, I'm pretty sure the pre-EE engine also relied on OpenGL.

    BG2 used software rendering although you could enable OpenGL 1.x for accelerated rendering.
