    Bluff +10, Disguise +10

A bit high for a guy who thought the pinnacle of deception is spelling your name backwards... >_>
maybe he's got an ancestral bloodline on his mother's side that goes all the way back to Alucard =p

Not to mention glowing eyes... I think that kind of feature would give disguising skills a penalty... Unless you disguise yourself as something else with glowing eyes, which may or may not be rare...

He must've been rolling nat 20s like no tomorrow at Candlekeep...

Mithral Fullplate does and I think the pathfinder fighter gets an increase to from class abilities

    Medium-sized human

I always pictured Minsc as a 7-foot colossus. Maybe just my perception? Works with the whole gentle giant image.

Its hard to tell since the in-game character models are pretty much the same in size.

Minsc's focus should be either greatsword(2 handed sword) or maces.

Imoen's starting weapons are shortsword and shortbow. I'm not up on the pathfinder system but 12 hp seems a little high for a level 1 thief.

In Pathfinder hit die is tied to BAB(except for Barbarians). Rogues roll d8. Though 12 seems to be one too many, 8+3 = 11

@DJkajuru I think Jaheira in Pathfinder would be Neutral Good since in the games she acts in a more altruistic way than a true neutral aligned character would and druids were forced to be only true neutral in 2nd edition.

I thought rogues were d6. Clerics were d8?

Edit: I did research. Rogues are d8 in pathfinder. huh.
  • DrugarDrugar Member Posts: 1,566
They did away with the d4 hitdice for wizards, made them d6. All the d6's got upped to d8.
Likewise, all d10's (and the one d12 class) have 1:1 level/to hit bonusses, D8's have 3:4 (gaining +3 BAB per 4 levels) and all d6's have 1:2 (so +1 BAB per two levels).

It's a bit more equal than 3.5, which is not a bad thing.

    @Lord_Tansheron
A 7ft colossus is still Medium. Large kicks in around 9ft, Ogre size.
Goliaths have the Powerful Build racial feature though, which makes them count as Large for a number of checks, despite being Medium creatures. This may apply to Minsc.
Personally, I'm in favor of giving him 17-18 Str at level 1 and using the Pathfinder '+2 to any one stat' rule for humans to up it to 19-20, making him ridonkulously strong at level 1, as in the original. With the two stat-ups he'll have gotten from his 8 levels (as displayed in the profile above), his strength would be upped to 21-22, boulder throwing level.

    @Lord_Tansheron -

"Medium sized" creatures usually include all humanoids between 4 and 8 feet. It's a way of classifying sizes for the purpose of what gets size bonuses and/or penalties against what. It does not mean he is of average height for a human.

Definitely agreed. He should also be taking the Two-Handed Weapon style line of feats instead of Two Weapon Combat style. Or, possibly, go for oversized two-weapon fighting and dual a Two-handed Sword and a Mace ;D

His Favoured Enemy should be Humanoid (Gnoll), obviously. Favoured Terrain: Dens of Stinking Evil, mayhaps?

Oh, and this and this? Perfect Animal Companion feats for Boo. Jump for the eyes, Boo!

Finally. Keep them coming, @ShapiroKeatsDarkMage and the other people! I've had fun so far.

Edit: Eh, dammit. Wait a few hours to post and Drugar comes sneaking with those ninja skills.

A 7-foot tall person is still of Medium size categorization. Size categories are more a question of volume than height.

I stand corrected. It seems things are much more rigidly defined, and my knowledge of PnP is admittedly circumstantial.

Rangers automatically get ambidexterity and two weapon fighting(at least they do in 3rd edition, not sure about pathfinder or 3.5e).

Your favored terrain for Minsc had me cracking up laughing in my computer chair. Thanks I needed that.

In base 3.5 they get to choose between Two-Weapon Fighting and Archery Style, with a bunch of other combat styles available in splatbooks. In Pathfinder they get to choose from the bunch of combat styles I linked to before ;)

I would have thought that Minsc's favoured terrain are the Crevices of Stinking Evil.

In Pathfinder hit die is tied to BAB(except for Barbarians). Rogues roll d8. Though 12 seems to be one too many, 8+3 = 11

In Pathfinder, taking a level in your favored class gives you a bonus Hit Point, a bonus Skill Point, or a bonus based on your race-class combination. It appears Imoen chose the bonus Hit Point at level 1.

That's assuming her favored class is Rogue, of course. The fact that she Dual-Classes in BG2 calls that into question though.

    Skills:Acrobatics +4, Appraise +3, Bluff+3, Diplomacy +3, Disable device +4, Perception +4, Stealth +4, Use magic device +3

Her skills don't look right to me. Most of these skills just reflect the bonus from the governing stat. Also not reflected are the bonuses provided by the feats she took and the +3 bonus for putting a skill point into a Class Skill. Finally, she should get 12 Skill Points at level 1, but only 8 skills are listed...

Her skills should look more like this:

Acrobatics +8, Appraise +7, Bluff+9, Diplomacy +7, Disable device +7, Disguise +9, Escape Artist +10, Knowledge Local +7, Perception +4, Slight of Hand +8, Stealth +10, Use magic device +7
