BG2:EE And the BlackGuard Kit

Do you think they'll support Strong Hold variants for the black guard kit? radiant heart doesn't quite fit... Also what about carsomyr? Will there be a blackguard equiv of the sword or will blackguard's just be able to equip holy avenger anyway?

    If memory serves, there was a group of fallen paladins in BG2, which you had to fight as part of Paladin Stronghold quest. It would be neat if a Blackguard could join them and fight Radiant Heart instead.
    As for evil-mega-sword, didn't one of githyanki carry something like this when they came for the silver blade?

    As far as the stronghold goes, it's already been said by the devs that they'll get one of the existing strongholds, so no blackguard-specific options, unfortunately (not yet, at least). I'd put my money on them just getting the fighter stronghold.

    My guess is that the Blackguard will just get the warrior stronghold.
    There is an "unholy" 2-handed sword in the underdark already. In the Ku-Toa lair.

    I'm pretty sure the developers are on-record as saying that Blackguards won't get the Radiant Heart stronghold, WILL get an existing stronghold (So probably the Keep), and won't be able to wield Carsomyr.

    Is there much demand for more PC Blackguard content? I'm just planning on taking Dorn. I don't take Keldorn around when I'm playing as an Inquisitor, after all.

    Item Upgrade Mod has one, built off the Soul Reaver sword you can recover from the Underdark.

    I believe the Anti-Paladin component of Weimer's Solaufein mod actually turns that Githyanki sword into a proper "Unholy Avenger". It's fairly similar to Carsomyr (except EVIL) and can only be used by Anti-Paladins. Of course, that mod was written way before we had Blackguards, but it's definitely something that can be considered, right?

    As for the Stronghold, I doubt it will be anything special; it's probably just going to be the de'Arnise Keep.
