Sooo, for fun I figured I'd start a new BG game with a RP nordic Skald. Little did I know, this was to be my roll (best of 3 rolls, 2nd attempt)

STR: 17
DEX: 18
CON: 16
INT: 17
WIS: 11
CHA: 17
Total: 96

Proficiency Pips:
Axe
Bow

And to add to the further Nordic epic-ness, her name is Aud (Read Gisli's Saga for more info on why this is epic).

Out of curiosity, did I just waste my uber-roll since Skald's are supposed to sit back and sing? I don't suppose there is a way to have a Skald Dual-class to a Blade at all? xD

Note: The good news - This is a vanilla BG1 Bard character still, so when I export to BG2 I'll still have kit selection available.

    Skalds are indeed best as support for fighter-heavy parties, but they're still better (albeit very slightly) in personal combat than all other bards save for the Blade.

    Still, you could always just create a new character that you feel you want and give him 96 points to assign.
