Will current BG2 mods work with BG2 EE?

I recently bought BG2 from GoG and am having a retro blast playing BG2 all over again after 10 years. I noticed that there were a myriad of very well made mods for BG2 that sprouted up over the years, last weekend i bought BG2 EE because of the promise of more npcs and content which to me more is always good :) However i am wondering if i can enhance my experience even more by being able to use some of the really cool mods like the item upgrade mod, Nalia Romance mod, the BG tweaks mod etc on the BG2 EE?

Information will be greatly appreciated

    @Ryofu Many mods will work out of the box, and those that don't won't be difficult for modders to update -- stay tuned for more info on that closer to release. :)

    I'll be making sure there are a variety of popular mods compatible on day one, as well.
