Branwen weapon proficiency not working

I just noticed that Branwens THAC0 is not reduced when equipped with a warhammer. Her weapon proficiency is warhammer so I'm thinking it should drop 1 point (e.g., from 20 to 19) when equipped with a warhammer. Though, admittedly I don't understand everything about THAC0, so perhaps this is not a bug... (tested in Mac v2014)

    Being proficient with a weapon allows you to use it without impairment, it doesn't give any bonus :)

    your thac0 wont start droppin from using weapons until you have 2 points in a proficiency
