Something Interesting For Powergamers

Heyps. For anyone who doesn't know this, it seems like poison weapon works with MMM spell, and because MMM applies damage from two sources, every successful dart landing applies the poison twice. With haste, you obviously have 6 attacks per round turning into 12 poison applications per round as an assassin/mage, should you land all of them hits.

Pretty cool, and pretty darn strong. :O

    Nice find!

MMM are pretty good in general, I just wish they had more "charges" so I could go around playing artillery all day long.

Yeah, I've been thinking about running a (Shadowkeepered) Mage/Assassin multi, lawful evil of course.

You should see if that same functionality also applies to the HLA spell Energy Blades.

You're actually capped at 5 attacks per round, unless you're using Improved Haste (or Whirlwind Attack, but that isn't an option in this case). Now that I've got my nitpicking out of the way, I have to say, this is an interesting find.

@TJ_Hooker I remember having 6 attacks per round with the ravanger with haste because its base is 5, are you sure haste doesn't stack with melf's minute meteors?

Also pretty sure that Haste can get you to 6 APR, weird as it is.

Improved Haste halves personal round time, allowing you to get from a 3 attacks up to 6. This is why you get 8 mainhand and 2 offhand attacks if you're at 5 APR without IH.

Regular Haste does not allow you to get your attacks above 5 per round.

Without Improved Haste or WWA/GWW you're capped at 5 attacks per round.

Just tested, with 5 natural APR and (regular) Haste or Oil of Speed, I go to 6 APR.

Is BG2, though, and with tons of mods. Might be it, but that's how I've always remembered it working...

Yep, it seems that I was wrong and @sarevok57 and @Lord_Tansheron were right. I tested it out in BG:EE by turning on auto-pause on round end. It was auto-pausing every 3 attacks, and when I timed it I was only getting ~3 seconds in between auto-pauses, meaning that I had an effective rate of attack of 6 APR. So it appears that it is functioning as if you were under the effects of Improved Haste (halving the duration of a character's round in order to increase the number of attacks in 6 seconds).
