Consistent NPC stats between BG1 and BG2?

From BG1 to BG2 several NPCs have some of their stats tweaked:
BG1 -> BG2
Edwin:
Strength 9 -> 10
Wisdom 9 -> 10
Jaheira:
Dexterity 14 -> 17
Minsc:
Dexterity 15 -> 16
Constitution 15 -> 16
Viconia:
Wisdom 15 -> 18
Its a minor issue for sure, but will Overhaul leave things as is (and we'll assume that they gained those stats during the story) or will you guys modify these values to keep things uniform between both games?
I'd rather have the BG2 stats if you do decide to stick with one of them. >_>;;

In fact some things ppl call bug i call improvment, as the 2 points in short sword of Haer'Dalis, or the ability to deploy up to 5 points of proficience weapon with anomen (as a dual class fighter/cleric can only get 2 points at a maximum, i know cos i tried to make one) or the deathbringer crazy random attack of sarevok that normally do 100 or 200 dmg in add to the weapon damage (and even today i yet don't know why).
They do kind of push jaheira and minsc on you from the beginning, so it makes sense to make them a little tougher.
And Viconia and Edwin are the only single class cleric and mage anyhow, so making them stronger compared the the more versatile Anomen, Aerie, and Jan seems reasonable.
I would like to see some characters (read: Jaheira, Khalid, and Minsc) boosted a bit to be more competitive NPC choices, but I don't know what that would do to the balance of encounters.
