Weird Custom Portraits Problem

Hi folks.

I decided to give black pits a shot with a custom party of my creation.

So i went in and I noticed when creating characters that when selecting custom portraits only some of my pics are available to select.
Most of them don't appear in the list.

Only my Elven, Half Elven, and Halfling pics are available. All the human, half orc, and other pics do not show.

I don't know why, or what the problem is. They are all correctly formatted (I double checked).

Any ideas? Thoughts? Help?

    Can you upload here one of the portraits that doesn't show up? I will try and see if I can find where the problem is.

    Did you use MSPaint to edit/save them? This program is notorious for not saving bitmaps as 24-bit, even when you choose so upon saving.

    Ah.

    No I doubled checked all that. I finally traced the issue. Some of the portrait names had a character too many which is why they weren't showing up. 8 characters instead of 7. I think.

    So sorted.
