Baldur's gate new game + ?

Hi! So as the title says, is there a mod or hack that allows you to start a new game with your previous character?
(In baldur's gate 2 preferably)
Sorry if this has been discussed previously.

    It's a mod that is very secret but was already in the game from the start, It took quite some time but eventually people figured it out, but i'll share this secret with you...

    If you click on export on your character screen, and then when you make a new game click import and pick the character you exported, you'll start a completely new game with him. It's magic, isn't it? *Dramatic pose*
