Hello,

could you please include an option into your Beamdog client and in the BG:EE and BG2:EE installer to download via pure HTTP (TCP 80) please?
Disabling Peer2Peer still downloads via BitTorrent. So basically, disabling Peer2Peer to circumvent possible ISP throttles and blocks is useless.

There are ISPs that dislike this protocol and either throttle it or block it completely, making it impossible to download and install BG:EE (and perhaps BG2:EE) on some ISPs. Fortunately, which is an unlikely occurence to other LTE ISPs, the German Telecom, from whom I get my internet access from, does not block BitTorrent (it does only block it if the monthly throttle quota of 30 GB is reached).

I've found this out with Wireshark and noted that behaviour. It's a shame that people who are behind such an ISP and have no other choice have to resort to paid VPN services to get the game.
