sooo, does the new patch permit modding in a multiclass sorcerer/paladin?

My inner munchkin is tingling with the possibility...

(I swear I'll do mea-culpa by running a no-reload halfling jester/monk next... wait, actually that would be more overpowered... hmmm....)

Probably not but you'll likely be able to remove race class restrictions.

If it's any consolation I think you can do paladin/wizard in iwd2. I think you have to be a paladin of Mystra to pull it off w/o penalties

If having an unstoppable melee/mage caster is what you want I recommend a Fighter/Wild Mage (creatable via Shadowkeeper). It's probably the most powerful character, legal or otherwise, in the game by the end of ToB
  • I haven't seen anything indicating that the new patch enables multiclassing with kits or multiclassing combinations that didn't previously exist, but maybe @camdawg is just being conservative with BGTweaks. ;)

    ...Paladin/Sorceror?
I think I am SO done with the modding part of this forum...

I doubt it. Un-hardcoding race/class restrictions is one thing. Adding support for entirely new multiclasses is another, especially given that they don't necessarily interact in obvious, systematic ways. That said, I'm not a modder, so I could be completely off-base.

Well, I couldn't live with myself after that much munchkin anyway....

Err... okay back to my multiclass Halfling Accountant/Plumber.

Yeah, this. The available multiclass combos remain what they were before.

Just out of curiousity, are the class combos hardcoded? Or could a modder actually open up the options?

Wth the exception of the Barbarian and Wild mage they were hardcoded. There is a reason that after 12+ years you haven't found a mod that let you do this.
