So far whenever i stay at an inn the movies quit playing...it automatically skips them...havent tried camping yet to see if the movies are still playing....all the movies were playing fine it just started doing the skipping thing in the inns.

    This may seem like a silly question, but just to eliminate the possibility--are you certain you're not double-clicking on the "rest" button?

    Can you email me your DxDiag file?

    1. Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard
    2. You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen
    3. Type dxdiag in the text field
    4. Click OK
    5. If your computer has a 64-bit version of Windows, click the button Run 64-bit DXDIAG
    6. If your computer has a 32-bit version of Windows, that button will not be available
    7. Click the Save All Information button, found on the bottom of the DXDIAG report
    8. Save this text file and send it to me in an attachment as an email

    I had this same issue the first time I played the beta, then after a computer reboot the problem went away and I have not been able to reproduce it.

    I just camped and clicked to end the movie and as long as i clicked on the movie before it stopped i could see the movie playing but i had to end it before it stopped.

    @qwert_44643 I have exactly the same problem. To summarise:

    1. Start the game, load a saved game, go to an Inn.
    2. Click "Rent"
    3. Wait till the movie ends without typing or clicking
    4. Try again clicking "Rent"
    5. The movie stops as soon as it starts but the party has rested, as the console reports "…rested 8 hours" after leaving the Inn dialogue.

    It should be noted that it happens even if step 4 is performed in a different inn than step 3, thus at a quite later time.

    Morevoer If step 3 is replaced by
    3bis. Click while the movie plays to stop it

    then step 5 becomes
    5bis. The movie plays normally and the party has rested…

    My config: MacPro 1,1, i.e.
    * Operating System: MacOS 10.7.5
    * CPU: 2 x Intel Xeon 5130 (2 cores @ 2GHz), i.e. MacPro 1,1
    * GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT

    Resting in one Inn and leaving the movie to finish by itself disables the movie in any other Inn as far as I can tell.

    This should be fixed in the update we just pushed.

    (for reference, we were able to reproduce the issue from the Options > Movies screen, if you let the movie play all the way through once and then try to play it again.)
