I have discovered a bug.
Bug with mouse over of characters and items

Current behaviour:
When the mouse pointer is over the right side of the character circle the mouse pointer is the move
When the mouse pointer is to the left of the character circle the mouse pointer is the interaction pointer (talk or attack)
Similar issues for mousing over other items that cause the mouse to change.

Expected: the mouse pointer should only be the interaction icon when over the character or item.

Additional info: Possible related to hardware.
Hardware: Eyefinity 3 monitor display with total resolution at 3240x1920
