Have kits been balanced for BgEE

I'm gathering from the announcements that BG is going to play with Bg2-style character creation. It would be nice to know if any effort has been made to balance some of the kits, since they were designed for levels 7+, not 1-8 (overpowered low-level ones like Totemic Druid with their summon and underpowered low-level ones like the armor-less-with-no-bonuses-yet Kensai).

Yes, this is a bit of a double post, but I didn't know where exactly to pose this,
