Multiplayer chat menu resize crash

ManveruManveru Member Posts: 75
I know multiplayer is not the focus yet, but this is something I've noticed in the chat UI.

1. Talk to an NPC
3, Type something in the chatbox and hit enter
2. Resize the chat/dialog box to smaller size
3. Type something in the chat and press enter
4. Resize the chat back to normal size
5. Game crashes

Some other thinks I've noticed in multiplayer (I've just been trying stuff between my laptop and my pc):

If you resize the chat, the previous chatlog vanishes until you resize to the same size it was you typed in the chat messages, probably something to do with scrolling?

If a second player joins with the same name, you're not given an option to change your name, but you're being send right back to main menu. This won't happen often I think, but it might be neater not to throw joining players back to main menu.

If you pause to often, the other player gets the message 'You must wait before you can pause again.' not the player that's hitting the pause button like a madmen.

If both players enter nodes on the map the player that entered the node first (I think) the name changes to Invalid 3000000, Invalid 30000001 etc. The same goes for user journal entries.

Another weird thing I found in multiplayer:

    - Control 2 characters (perhaps it works with other peoples characters as well)
    - Summon a familiar with a wizard (doesn't matter which one is the wizard I think)
    - Make your familiar talk with the second character, and that character leaves the party

Luckily he'll first ask if he can rejoin and afterwards he'll stay put, so you can always add him again later, so it's not a big deal, just a bit weird.

Actually has nothing to do with familiars; if you speak to any non-protagonist PC (or any NPC that isn't supposed to be joinable, such as tutors or Phlydia in Candlekeep), the same thing will happen.
