I noticed too. Maybe because there's still an "export" button in the character sheet in-game.
It's not the same, though. The Pre-generate button allowed you to pre-generate a completely "fresh" character, while the Export-button exports all data from a character that you've already started using.
Yes, but if you export right after starting the game, you get a "fresh" character, don't you? Well, other than having a wooden quarterstaff, I don't think there's any difference. It's not that I don't want the pregenerate button back, I'm just saying there's still a workaround.

I think the amount of GP you start with is set for a exported character as well, while a pre-generated one would get a fresh roll when starting the game.
Pre-Generate Character needs to return. Creating a new game to export a new character is an unnecessary workaround.
