The new kit clothing colors include colors that cannot be selected

For example, neither of the Dwarven Defender's colors are on the color palette. If you change them, there is no way to get them back.

I really like the unique colors, but I am curious whether they will be added to the palette.

I know there are a lot of them and that the existing window has no scroll bar. Perhaps an appearance reset button?

    The 1pp mod (who's author is, I believe, involved with BG:EE) allows the selection of these extra colours by making them available through the Colours tab on the character record screen, with the original colours available still from the inventory screen. I'm not sure why this hasn't been replicated in BG:EE because it seems like good workaround.

    From what I remember the component you are talking about was a bit buggy - selected colors would suddenly change or look weird - that might be why it hasn't been implemented.

    There are some flashy colors (like 0x44, etc) that can look quite good (although they might stand out a bit) accessable with EEKeeper, please consider adding them too.

    I think it's the same case for some of the new colours BG:EE gives to the old npc's like Imoen. If you change it then you can't change it back.

    Oh my, I went into EEKeeper to apply the colors to my games in progress, and it looks like they also set new values for armor colors, which I didn't even know were customizable. There are values for Armor, Metal and Leather.

    Edit: If you go hunting for these colors, remember that to count in hexidecimal:

    0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, F

    Some of the colors you can pick with EEKeeper might crash your game (you will notice it when you load the edited save).
    Well this was at least the case back when I was playing with ShadowKeeper and BG2/BGT.

    In bg:ee if you edit your color to an unavailable type via EEKeeper, the game sets it to a random, but available color upon reloading. It does not cause crashes like it was in bg2.
