Recent Update

Hey everybody - I assume an update was released last night, or perhaps this morning, as I have just downloaded it for the Beta and am proceeding through Cloakwood presently.

I am playing on Intel Graphics so firstly can I say thank you for addressing the severe problem that was inherent with that particular card. I have noticed unusual, odd pauses or jerks at 5-10 second intervals through the game. It is not game breaking, but a little odd and I don't recall it being there before the update. Also, I was wondering why '0' was removed as the command key to select all party members at once: I'm already noticing how much I miss it!

Thanks to the game developers for their continued support of the game and the players.

One bug = One thread. Please rename topic of this thread to for eg: "Unusual, odd pauses or jerks at 5-10 second intervals" (I spoot them too) and make another thread about what I've quoted as separate bug report.

Actually, the selection keys not working have already been reported in several threads, so no need for another one.

I am experiencing this as well, but with AMD Radeon HD 5700. My W8 laptop which is using an Intel graphics card does not seem to have the same issue.

I have the same issue on W8 with Radeon 6970, and on my laptop with W8 & Nvidia GT750M.

I have a laptop with Optimus, going to test with that one, using intel vs dedicated.

Apologies for misrepresenting my thread - as you might have guessed as I'm an Intel Graphics user I am poorly acquainted with the forums until now. If someone knows how to separate or perhaps delete this discussion I will be in no way offended! Looking forward to v1.2 when it is launched, and to BG2:EE!! :)

I also now have this "stuttering" issue on my game when edge scrolling around the map.

    I'm running W7 on an i7-860 w/ ATI HD 5850 running 13.4 CCC.

for game stuttering/ lag, i go into task manager and set affinity and add another core to the list ( so make the game run with at least 2 cores ) and i find that it runs just fine after that, im going to assume that almost everyone has some sort of dual core/thread unit of some sort, maybe the game should interpret multicore/thread technology better?
