Hello and one question

Hi everyone

Nice to join your community. Alhough I've been a gamer since before the original Baldur's Gate was released, and a fan of RPGs, for some incredible series of events I never played BG until a week ago. Now I'm getting well into it, planning to build a mighty character and carry him over to Shadows of Amn and eventually Thrown of Bhaal.

I have one question about carrying over a character from BGEE to BG2EE: Will my build for Imoen carry over or will I simply get the default Imoen from the original BG2?

    You will most probably get the default Imoen build in BG2:EE. From what i know the only way to change this is if you play BGT.

    Ok. I was wondering if they'd include that nifty feature from BGT. But I just found the search function so I'll look into this :).

    The short answer is no, only CHARNAME carries over.

    The default Imoen (that's dual classed to mage) is pretty much necessary in BG2, for storyline purposes. Wouldn't work with an Imoen with no spells.

    But BGT is likely to be upgraded to EE version (if it doesn't just work right off the bat).
    As Swordfishtrombone writes though it is necessary for Imoen to have spells. That said you could probably shadow keeper her thieving skills if that is what you are worried about.
