Resting Crash Bug

Since today's beta update I crash every time I try to rest with Neera or Rasaad in my party. Resting with Dorn worked fine.

EDIT: It seems the issue started with Neera. After her joining me and trying to rest crashes began no matter who swapped in and out of the party. I can no longer rest anywhere in the game without crashing.

    Just to give more info...

My party started as a premade 5 man that had imoen along as the 6th member. This party cleared everything up to the cloakwood mines with only durlags tower left unexplored before heading into Baldur's Gate. I decided to run the new npc's quests before going further to get more xp and any items from those quests. Grabbing Dorn (and leaving Imoen in the FAI) went fine though I did notice Taris would not give her info once he was in the party and when I tried to talk to Dorn himself it gave me dialogue as if I were asking him to leave the party. Visiting Kryl's spawn spot didnt help and Kryl was nowhere to be found. I decided to advance time by going back and forth between Ulgoths and Nashkel. Eventually Kryl appeared in her spot and I was able to finish Dorn's questline without any resting issues.

Then it was time to grab Neera. When I tried to rest with her in the party the game crashed. I went through her whole questline without resting. Dumped her and grabbed Rasaad. Resting again crashed so I did his whole questline without resting. Once done I swapped him for Imoen in the hopes that this would fix the rest/crash issue but it did not. I fear this particular run through is broken beyond repair though I am hopeful that another update my fix the issue.

I started my playthrough when they first released the beta, so I went through all updates and resting works fine, have Rassad, Neera Dorn and Imoen in my party. I didn't bother to start a new game for each update though, bcs all works fine and most fixes/features which are of importance to me don't require a new game. In all my years playing BG series I didn't know that members can be selected by 1-0 and = ; I always used the GUI :/

Yea I have been using the same playthrough since the beta began and its been fine up to this point with resting and what not. I had both Neera and Dorn in my party briefly when I first met them but kept Imoen on and sent them to the FAI while I played through the game. No issues till today when that patch hit and I decided to do the new NPC sidequests.

Hmm, another update; I just installed it, tried resting, got ambushed 4 times, Rassaad died, Neera and Dorn both alive, rested for 8 hours, no crash. Also before this update I did Neera's quest in Aldoy's Enclave with plenty of resting and no crash.

It may have something to do with how my party was originally set up and the fact that I attempted to swap npc's in and out. I am unsure exactly why that would cause a resting bug. All I know is that I had no problems resting until today.

I've also tried kicking everyone from my party and altering/removing variables relating to Neera without any results.

Well, I don't know why it crashes for you. All I can guess that it is something related to your hardware and not this patch. I have a small quantity of minor glitches which I know are reserved for my hardware configuration only.
