No more gender specification in kit descriptions?

In non-beta BG:EE, the kit descriptions are tailored to the gender of your character. So for example, if my current character is a female undead hunter, the description would read, "This holy avenger has honed HER abilities..."
In the new beta, the descriptions seem to be using male default descriptions (i.e: "This holy avenger has honed HIS abilities...") irrespective of the character's gender.
Maybe this isn't technically a "bug," since the original BG1 didn't differentiate between genders either, but I thought it was a nice touch added by BG:EE which I would like to see kept if at all possible.

1. Start a new game and create a new character: female, human, undead hunter
2. Notice that the class description (correctly) uses the pronoun "her"
3. Outside of Candlekeep Inn, press "r" to view the character record
4. Select "Kit Description"
5. Notice that the class description (incorrectly) uses the pronoun "his"
@ajwz - I used a female undead hunter.
Dzarin appears to be correct - the gender is correct on the character creation screen, but wrong on the record screen during gameplay.
Interestingly, when I play the tutorial using a female undead hunter, my own kit description uses the wrong gender, but Branwen's cleric description uses the female gender.
