One month and one day to BG2:EE

These days I'm a professional novelist, but in my hilariously misspent youth BG2 was my favourite game of all time. I bought, and played through, BG:EE as a kind of crowdsourcing for BG2. I even bought BG:EE on Steam and never played it, just so I could give Beamdog a bit more of my money, helping BG2:EE to happen.

Now it's happening.

I timed my deadlines to the editor around the November release date. I've eaten my vitamins. I'm stockpiling Red Bull. The 36 hour BG2:EE marathon is going to be epic.

@Dee, let's do this.

Hexxat, my body is ready.

Who else is excited? :D

    I'll wait for about month and few days before I decide if I buy BG2:EE or not. It's just that people are learning from their mistakes.

    @Sasayaki will you be doing a BGEE -> BG2EE run or jumping straight into BG2EE?

    Personally I think only 5% of game launches are smooth and 95% of the time something goes wrong during the first days. Remember to be mentally prepared for such eventuality.

    I already have three characters done with BG:EE who'll be going into BG2. I'm pretty much taking the month off to sit around in my underwear and play BG2:EE.

    It's going to be smooth and nothing's going to go wrong. Nope.

    This topic reminds me of all the stuff I have to do before I get the keys of my new house on 15 November. But I still pre-ordered, you don 't notice the difference when spending 10000 times the price of BG2EE
