General Save Resets

in Original BG1 Bugs
The problem happened *Spoiler* When I met Hentold and he gave me his dagger. I saved it right before I met the Revenant in his tomb and the save reset occurred. It takes me right back Where I started on the map. I can't overwrite it, Make another save game, quick save, and etc. I would be grateful for any assistance. Thank you.
