I dropped the scroll

in New Players (NO SPOILERS!)
I dropped a scroll for the end of the Nashkel Mine quest how can I get it back so I can finish this quest and get the "Proof" that they mayor of Nashkel asks for?

    Where did you drop it?
    I did that recently and went through the mines again and couldn't find it.
    I was stressing but than I saw it on the map you go to after you leave the mines (That's where I dropped it).

    Hopefully you remember where you dropped it or you will have to "cheat" the item in

    What! He doesn't take your word for it? No seriously just backtrack to Nashkell Mines exit (or maybe you dropped it inside the mines) and use the tab key to find it.

    the Tab button saved me the scrolls were hiding in the bottom of the mine i never picked them up.

    you actually only need to bring the mayor the holy symbol of mulahey, you don't even need to bring him the letters ( but if you have both of them, which are just 2 copies of the same letter, he will take one)
