Low screen resolution

Hello,

I recently brought Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition and although the resolution auto check seems ok it still seems to be quite low resolution.

I thought this maybe my bad memory so I installed my old copy of Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal along with the Widescreen mod 3.05 to set the resolution to my default which is 1680x1050 and it looks far sharper/better than BGEE with its auto check resolution setting.

Is there anything I can do to get BGEE looking as good as SOA and TOB standard releases that have the widescreen mod?

    The next patch which is currently in Beta enables you to disable the UI scaling.

    You can remove the scaling already in version 1.0.2014. All you need is edit the Baldur.ini file as explained here.
    Editing the Baldur.ini is described in this topic.
